By Allen Starbury , Monday - March 19, 2007

Mobb Deep's Prodigy and Havoc have announced a partnership with Voxonic Inc. to release their upcoming singles in several different foreign languages via the company's patent-pending software.

"One of Voxonic's goals is to help major record labels establish a stronger following for their artists across different cultures and internationally," said Arie Deutsch, President of Voxonic, Inc. "This is a growing trend for recording artists as an innovative way to market themselves and reach out to their international fan bases."

"Working with Voxonic will be a great opportunity for these artists to diversify their fan bases as well as provide an added edge to their upcoming solo projects," adds Norman Bell of Purfek Storm Management, manager of all four artists.

Prodigy is currently working on the follow-up to his certified gold-selling debut solo album, HNIC. While Kurupt, Grammy-nominee Ky-Mani Marley and G-Unit/Infamous affiliate 40 Glocc will also be releasing upcoming singles off their solo projects with the use of Voxonic's technology.

Voxonic will convert selected singles from each of the artists' upcoming solo projects into various foreign languages and create international voicetones under their division, Voxtones.

"This venture will also show other music industry executives that there are a lot of different ways to market products and provide an outlet for their artists to reach out to foreign demographics," explained Bell.

Voxonic provides the technology necessary to create voice conversions, which allows voices to be presented in any language with 99% accuracy of the original speaker's voice, according to the company. So far they are able to convert music into more than 1,400 different languages including Spanish, French, and German.
